Parking Enforcement (Booting Technician)

Average Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour

Join the elite squad of parking enforcement professionals and make great money booting vehicles in the Atlanta area. Citywide Parking is a professional parking enforcement company that enforces parking regulations on private property. We immobilize (boot) vehicles that park illegally on private property and charge the vehicle owner a fee to remove the immobilization device.

MUST HAVE:

1. Valid Georgia Drivers License. No out of state licenses.

2. Reliable Transportation

Must own or have full time access to a reliable working vehicle. You are required to be listed on the car insurance policy m (as either additionally insured or as the primary policy holder.)

This is a qualification required by the City of Atlanta City Ordinance.

3. Must be able to handle stressful situations in a professional manner.

4. Must pass a police background check (to qualify for the police permit required to work). Cannot have a conviction as a violent felon on your record. Non-violent records may still apply.

5. Must be honest and dependable.

Must have the habit of arriving 15-30 mins early to every shift.

What is the Booting Process?

A vehicle immobilization device, also known as a "boot", is a wheel clamp that can be easily applied and removed only by a Booting technician.

When a vehicle is booted, the technician will also apply a warning sticker on the driver side window to alert the vehicle's owner that it has been immobilized. Our 24-hour call center phone number is located on the sticker. When the parking violator calls the number, our call service operator will dispatch a technician to the location to remove the boot for the designated fee.

Once the boot is removed, the parking violator leaves the premises and has learned a valuable lesson without emptying their wallet. Other potential parking violators also notice the boot and warning sticker and this acts as a visual deterrent to notify them not to park and leave the property.

The average technician earns about $16- $25 per hour not including bonuses. A dedicated technician can earn more than $30 an hour.
