Mock Jurors Needed

Why watch Law & Order when you can make money being part of our nation’s legal system - GET PAID to be a juror for two days.

We are seeking residents of Escambia County, Florida to serve as Jurors for a 2-day mock trial to be held on December 2 and 3, 2024.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE? Adult residents of Escambia County, Florida, ages 18 to 70.

Date of Mock Trial: December 2 and 3, 2024

Hours are from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM (with 1 hour lunch break) each day

REQUIREMENTS:

MUST BE a U.S. Citizen

MUST BE an Escambia County, Florida resident for a minimum of 1 year

MUST BE 18 years of age or older

MUST HAVE a valid Florida driver’s license or Florida State I.D. showing an Escambia County, Florida address.

MUST SPEAK, READ & WRITE ENGLISH FLUENTLY

MUST BE ABLE to sit for extended periods, watch and listen to presentations on a screen, take notes on paper, and complete forms on an iPad.

MUST HAVE a minimum High School Diploma, persons with college degrees are encouraged to participate

Compensation: $480 cash paid at the end of the session (Note: Panelists must stay for the entire 2 days to receive compensation.)
