Culinary - Cook III (Full Time) ($31.63/hr)

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain, set up, produce and control the quality of all food items prepared in restaurant station (i.e., meats, vegetables, potatoes, bread products, etc.) Maintain clean and sanitary work area.

Essential Duties:

1. Prepare all foods suitable for cooking according to standard recipes to ensure the consistency of products to guests.

2. Visually inspect, select and use food items of the highest quality in the preparation of all menu items.

3. Check and control the proper storage of products and portion, e.g., high cost meat items.

4. Keep all refrigeration, storage and working areas clean, working condition to comply with Department of Health regulations.

5. Ensure all equipment in working areas is clean and in proper working condition.

6. Prepare requisition forms for supplies and maintain ordering of products and food items for production in the workstation.

7. Basic mathematical skills necessary to understand recipes, measurements and portion sizes.

8. Knowledge of fundamentals of line cooking.

9. Knowledge of accepted standards of sanitation.

Culinary - Cook IV (Full Time) ($28.93/hr)

Primary Responsibilities:
