Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstThe Senior Data and Reporting Professional generates ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts. The Senior Data and Reporting Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.Location: remoteThis role works closely with Humana’s care management teams to develop and deliver operational reporting and performance measures around Humana’s clinical programs, processes, and initiatives. The Senior Data and Reporting Professional is responsible for supporting clinical operations through the delivery of dashboards, reports, and analysis.

Determine business requirements for reporting and independently make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components

Design, development, maintenance, and delivery of operational reports, dashboards, and adhoc requests

Continually identify ways to improve and enhance current reports, increasing value and usability

Conduct independent research necessary to understand and utilize information from a variety of relational databases.

Develop and establish strong and effective working relationships with Clinical leadership and other departments

Derive observations and insights from metrics to support and improve clinical operations

Use your skills to make an impactRequired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

4 or more years of technical experience in data reporting

Proficiency understanding SQL and interpreting established SQL code

BI reporting tool skills such as Power BI and/or Tableau, Qlikview

Experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations and/or the analysis of healthcare data

Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple or competing priorities

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Desired Qualifications

Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including ability to link pivots to external data sources, creating pivot tables and summarizing data into reports and dashboards

Advanced proficiency in SQL, SAS and other data systems

Advanced proficiency in Power BI

Experience in a system analytics and/or data warehousing environment

The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$71,500 - $98,500 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
