Salary Range: $23 - $28 per hour

Description:

The West Coast Sales & Marketing Support Specialist supports New Energy Works West Coast sales and marketing efforts through a local presence. The role assists the West Coast sales teams through research, organization, planning, and networking support. This position also supports West Coast marketing efforts through event planning & support, small communication projects, mailings, and presentation creation.

Responsibilities for West Coast Sales & Marketing Support Specialist:

Provide Sales Support for West Coast Team:

- Provide follow-up support for sales team including sending of collateral, drafting of emails, sending of SWAG, and scheduling follow-up meetings/calls/zooms

- Arranging of lunch and learns/presentations: calling partners to schedule lunch n learns, adjusting presentations for meetings, scheduling food/leave behinds for meetings, follow-up in assigning CEU credit when necessary

- Researching new architects, builders, or other partners for sales and marketing efforts

- Research appropriate regional events, networking opportunities, and industry leaders for sales team to approach/attend

- Update and maintain sales CRM (Hubspot) with accurate information, tasks, and deals

- Maintain good communication and relationship with East Coast sales team for information and idea sharing

Provide marketing support to West Coast Sales Team and Marketing & Creative Director (based in NY):

- Keep a finger on pulse of West Coast competitors and markets

- Research new ways to deliver company messages to West Coast audiences

- Ensure brand consistencies between coasts

- Maintain inventory of West Coast marketing collateral and SWAG

- Assist with coordination and set-up of table-top exhibits and tradeshows

- Creation and implementation of marketing events (Tours, Open Houses, Public Raisings, PR Events)

- Designing/writing office signage, site signage, partner letters, presentations, follow-up emails

- Photographing/Videography for casual shoots and art directing professional shoots

Execute Special Projects

- Work alongside CEO and assist with notes, executive presentations, projects, and industry/peer-to-peer partnerships

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ work experience in sales, marketing coordination, project management for marketing/sales, or similar field.

Ability to travel as needed including, but not limited to: McMinnville shop (1/weekly) and to our Headquarters in Farmington, NY (1-4/yr)

Skills and Abilities:

Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a remote team

Professional writing skills

Phone skills with the ability to cold-call

Demonstrated event coordination experience

Demonstrated organizational skills; reliable, excellent follow through

Strong work ethic and ability to be flexible/responsive to rapidly changing projects

Proficient with: Word, Excel, Outlook, Hubspot, and Canva/InDesign

The base salary range for this position is $23 - $28

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
