Pipe Fitters

Power Labor is currently seeking Pipe fitters in the Austin area!

Must be able to perform the following duties:

-Cutting, assembling and installing pipes

-Repairing malfunctions

-Testing pipe systems to ensure safety and functionality

-Designing and assembling piping structures used in conveying chemicals, steam, and hot liquids at industrial, commercial, and residential properties

-Reviewing blueprints, planning, installing, and maintaining piping systems and related equipment

-Selecting type and size of pipe and related materials and equipment, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to job specifications

-Inspecting worksite to determine presence of obstructions

-Planning sequence on installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other workers

-Installing or repairing plumbing, and the duties range from fabricating piping and materials to assembling systems and ensuring they’re running effectively and do not leak

-Working on plumbing systems, heating and cooling piping, marine piping systems and more.
