Senior DOS, Full Line (ID, MT, Utah)
The Senior Director of Sales, Full Line is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight to the sales team responsible for driving revenue growth across the entire product line, including Trauma, Recon, and Robotics. This role will oversee the development and execution of long-term sales strategies, foster strong customer relationships, and drive continuous improvement within the sales organization.Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement long-term sales strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to the sales team.Collaborate with senior leadership to set and achieve ambitious sales targets.Sales Performance Management: Oversee the development and execution of sales plans, quotas, and performance metrics.Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales effectiveness and efficiency.Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners at the executive level.Represent the company at industry conferences and events to build brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and address customer needs.Team Development: Recruit, hire, and develop high-performing sales leaders and team members.Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to the sales team.Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the sales organization.Market Analysis:Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.Develop strategies to capitalize on market trends and address competitive challenges.Education: Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing or a related fieldLicenses/ Certifications: Requires valid driver's license applicable to current residence to facilitate travel requirements of the positionExperience:-Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management within the medical device industry, with a proven track record of success in either Orthopaedic and/or implant salesCompetencies:-Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire high-performing sales teams.-Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.-Deep understanding of the orthopedic market and regulatory landscape.Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.-Experience in developing and executing sales strategies for complex products.-Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.-Strong financial acumen and understanding of sales metrics.The Senior Director of Sales, Full Line will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of the company's Recon, Robotics and Trauma & Extremities businesses.
