VP, Managed Care Enterprise Integration (REMOTE)
Job SummaryThe Vice President, Managed Care Enterprise Integration is responsible for managing the successful delivery and launch of a portfolio of growth projects for the company - including new market launches, complex managed care contract procurement wins, and M&A integrations.This position collaborates with leaders to land strategic questions and decisions that will inform the shape and outcome of an implementation project. Works with business development and corporate development teams to understand a growth projects’ expected value and implement to deliver that vision and value. Accountable for managing a matrixed team of implementation experts to keep projects on schedule, minimize risks, mitigate issues, and bring open decision to closure.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Responsible for oversight and winddown of formal implementation work, and following launch, for post-live KPI/metrics monitoring to ensure a launched market is transitioning smoothly to normal operations.
Prioritize and execute on enterprise initiatives that drive growth and optimization through M&A, organic growth, and other value-generating opportunities.
Oversee and undertake business analysis, business requirement gathering, project management, project governance, and execution.
Partner with corporate strategy and corporate development functions to evolve broader enterprise initiatives.
Work directly with the executive team and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes that achieve enterprise wide growth and drive gains in efficiency and efficacy in health plan operations, health plan services, and corporate functions.
Job QualificationsRequired EducationBachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or other business disciplineRequired Experience Minimum 15 years' management experience within a complex enterprise, preferably within the healthcare sector or a highly regulated industry coupled with experience in working as part of a large operating division within a larger enterprise and/or working in a leadership capacity in a large public or private company. Business Acumen: outstanding technical skills and a broad base of prior experience coupled with a strategic approach and understanding of the interplay and tension between growth, margin, quality and risk management needed to achieve an organization's business goals in a dynamic, fast-paced and competitive environment. Broad understanding of managed care operations is also key to success in the role. Industry Knowledge: Strong working knowledge and experience in managed care, financial services, health, or other insurance and/or any relevant, complex, regulated industry. Leadership Skills: A highly engaged and hands-on executive; a seasoned leader with strong executive presence and the capability to represent the company both externally and internally to a variety of constituents. Communication Skills: A demonstrated ability to gain support, alignment, and a sense of ownership from different internal and external stakeholders to support business decision making.
