Senior Analyst BSA PM
Description:DUTIES
Review, design, and support implementation of new solutions based on enterprise business requirements and strategic goals of the City of Denton.
Design system tests and perform capacity planning and data modeling; establish criteria and perform technology evaluations, including but not limited to lab analysis, proof of concept along, supporting analyses, and documentation.
Define, plan, and design innovative enterprise-wide network, collaboration, and platform infrastructure solutions, including integrated financial analysis of technical alternatives across technology disciplines to meet business requirements and appropriate backup/redundancy requirements.
Complete system research, planning, architecture, and design complex enterprise technologies, datanet working, computing platforms, and/or collaboration/messaging platforms; lead the effort that designs and defines the architecture standards in specific areas of expertise, as appropriate.
Prepare new solution documentation, including technical specifications, technical deliverables, and planned key tasks to hand-off to internal and external stake holders for implementation.
Provides cross-discipline expertise including guidance and consultation through the identification and solicitation of new technology solutions; ensure documentation using multiple architectural models showing current and future technology architecture in the organization.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate opportunities for improvement within existing information and communication technology; provide recommendations and plan improvements to streamline business processes through integrations, automation, and reduction of duplication.
Assist with transition of colleagues and services from a legacy operating model to cloud operating model.
Produce and maintain accurate documentation to support implementation, operations support, and compliance requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:Knowledge of Citywide policies and procedures.Knowledge of Cloud and Hybrid networks, network platforms (LAN, WAN, Internet) and software defined networking.Skill in working with code version management applications.Skill in identifying, evaluating, and user requirements (User Stories) to be translated into system designs pecifications and achievable configuration changes.Skill in planning, documenting, validating, and testing technical solutions in a global enterprise setting.Skill in working with web service integrations (REST or SOAP) and building automated services calls to pull and insert data, developing workflow, business process, use case, UML, and dataflow diagrams.Skill in working with an enterprise service bus and designing data flow between systems and interfaces.Skill in developing IT custom integrations, application interfaces, and/or automation and scripting.Skill in working in and collaboration with complex software delivery organizations.Skill in engineering and implementing business processes focusing on service delivery.Skill in complex problem solving, identifying complex problems, and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.Skill for ensuring continuous improvement in processes, relationships, and cost savings.Skill in providing exceptional service to internal and external customers.Skilled in reading and comprehending highly technical or specialized materials.Skill at an advanced level with Microsoft Office 365 and other software systems necessary to complete work.Skill in analyzing and researching, to interpret and understand policies, laws, and regulations, and to provide workable recommendations and solutions to problems that maintain compliance.Experience Level:Entry Level+ + Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
