Responsible for the administration of one or more client programs within a business unit. This Program Administrator role is to support the formulary and utilization management change process for Medicaid business. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:Coordinates the activities involved with the implementation of clinical changes; retrieves the updates to the state-mandated PDL (preferred drug list) and criteria for Medicaid programs; provides subject matter expertise in response to day to day business issues.

Inputs change requirements into the formulary management tool.

Manages relationships with internal and external partners; problem solves issues which may include claims analysis.

Schedules, conducts and attends meetings and supports management in overall objectives.

Conducts analysis of testing results and works issues to resolution.

Manages documentation related to state PDL updates.

QualificationsRequires a BA/BS in a related field

2 plus years of experience in external client facing program or other healthcare related field

Or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background

Professional designation related to field or project management experience preferred

Must demonstrate excellent organization skills and be able to manage large volumes of data

Must be able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred experience in Medicaid

Preferred PBM or pharmacy experience
