Parking Garage/Security Attendant
The purpose of security is to provide a safe and visual deterrent from any mischievousactivities. All positions in the security department are highly visible, public positions thatoften serve as the first point of contact with Two Chatham Center and its management andstaff.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist tenants and guests in any way needed as our guidelines allow.
Must be available for day light, evening and overnight work hours.
Protect premises and property.
Provide security for Complex.
Ensure the safety of tenants, visitors, and employees.
Enforce Complex rules and regulations, particularly the no-pet and 10-minute parkingpolicies.
Prevent crimes and vandalism on Complex property.
Monitor the various video cameras looking for unusual activities and following up asnecessary.
Politely observe people moving through the lobbies offering directional assistance as necessary.
Acknowledge tenants by name whenever possible.
Assess when a visitor looks out of place and determine the appropriate response.
Perform all responsibilities in a respectful and professional manner.
Control building access to visitors.
Respond to emergency requests for help such as fire alarm, panic alarm, etc.
Conduct limited building tours to check safety and security status of occupied floors.
Manage and maintain the Contractor’s Logbook.
Place and remove directional barriers to control access during non-business hours.
Processes after-hours visitors
Monitor the lighting control panel, ensuring that the master light switch is activated when tenants are on the floors.
Interact with building vendors for utilities and operating systems.
Collaborate with garage and loading dock guards to ensure appropriate coverage of all monitored areas of the Complex at alltimes.
Complete comprehensive incident reports when needed.
Light housekeeping to keep the lobby and common areas of the Complex free and clear of litter and debris
