Verification Representative
Job Summary: At RentReporters, we help individuals build their credit by reporting their on-time rent payments to the credit bureaus. As a Verification Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of the rental information we report to the bureaus.
Key Responsibilities:
Verification of Rental Information: Establish a relationship between rental property and property owner, review rental agreements and other relevant documentation to validate information provided during enrollment.
Credential Documentation: Collect and maintain accurate records of tenant and landlord documentation, ensuring compliance with the credit bureaus’ requirements.
Communication: Communicate with landlords, property managers, and tenants to gather necessary information, confirm rental payments, and request additional documentation as needed.
Database Management: Input and maintain accurate tenant and landlord information.
Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance to new team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvement.
Flexibility: Adapt to dynamic operational needs of the organization and be able to shift tasks as priorities change.
Customer Service: Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to handle challenging situations with landlords, property managers, or tenants.
Time Management: Prioritize and complete tasks within designated timeframes.
Making Calls: Conduct outbound calls to verify information, confirm rental payments, and request additional documentation.
Payment Verification: Verify rental payments to ensure accurate reporting to credit bureaus.
Qualifications:
Excellent research and analytical skills.
Remote customer service and data entry experience.
Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with CRM solutions/software for data management.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
Experience in a verifications or credentialing role is a plus.
