Graphics Installer Trainee Description

We’re seeking an entry level installer to help expand our installation team. No experience in the graphics industry is necessary and training will be provided. This individual will be assisting and learning from our lead installers and experienced Installers by assembling structures for graphic displays including movie scene displays and will be installing banners, building wraps, wall murals and floor graphics by using various hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lifts (scissor lifts and boom lifts). The person we’re seeking will be expected to eventually go up 1, 2 or more story heights to install large-scale graphics or other components needed for the installation of the job. Graphics Installer Trainee’s will be working in the interior and exterior of movie theatres (e.g., TCL Chinese), hotel convention centers (e.g., LA Live Marriot), and high-end shopping malls (e.g., The Grove, Americana). This position is full-time, but we’re seeking someone with the flexibility to start work at various hours of the day or night and to be able to work overtime or sometimes even double-time. Traveling out of the city, county, or state for a few days up to a week will be required for this position depending on installation location and workload.

Candidate must meet the following requirements:

- Have a valid CA driver’s license and a clean driving record

- Be at least 21 years old to qualify to drive our vehicles

- Able to speak and read in English

- Able to see properly; proper vision, up close and with distance (with corrective lenses if needed)

- Able to Stand, bend, and grasp on a regular basis

- Able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis

- Able to climb ladders

- Able to use tape measure accurately and have mechanical skills to use hand power tools

- Detail oriented

- Self-starter, disciplined and safety oriented

- Be cooperative and able to work in a team environment

- Have willingness and desire to learn the required techniques and skills

- Able to take direction and learn new processes, skills and techniques

- Able to start work early mornings (3am or 4am), evenings (6pm or 8pm) or nighttime (9pm or 11pm)

- Able to adapt to a flexible schedule, will be expected to work overtime, weekends and occasionally work overnights and holidays

- Able and willing to travel out of the city, county, or state as needed

- Desire to make a career and grow in our company

- Understands and focuses on staying in line with our company vision and values

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Listens, learns, and works with Install supervisor, lead installer, and experienced installers

- Installation of banners, building wraps, interior and exterior wall murals, floor graphics and decals

- Installation of windows graphics on 1st and 2nd surface

- Building custom displays and booth setup using T3 Modular system

- Using scissors lift or boom lifts as needed for the job

- Driving company trucks to various worksites

- Maintaining company work trucks clean

- Helping in the shop with the production of graphics as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour BOE

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

8, 10, 12 hour shifts a day

Secured Monday to Friday

Overtime, up to Double-Time

Weekends as needed
