Field Technicians for Conservation

If you want to start a new, meaningful career in vegetation management in Florida's natural areas, Aquatic Vegetation Control, Inc. is looking for you in the Broward County area. We are currently hiring Field Technicians to work with a crew in conservation areas, targeting invasive vegetation.

We utilize airboats, swamp buggies, ATV’s, Argos, mowers and weedeaters, trucks, skiffs, and other specialized equipment to manage vegetation, restore Florida’s environment and protect Florida’s ecosystems.

This is an entry-level position. No experience in vegetation management is necessary, however qualified applicants must have experience working outdoors and be able to pass drug and background screening. Hourly pay starts $16 per hour. Crews work 10 hours per day - 4 days per week - Monday - Thursday.
