Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician- Electrical Demo and Recycling
The Electric Barn of North Hampton is an electrical supply distributor that specializes in hard to find/obsolete industrial electrical components. The Electric Barn is seeking a Laborer to assist in the procurement and removal of electrical equipment from active demolition sites, as well as general warehouse duties. This job can contribute to electrician's apprentice hours.
General Responsibilities:
assist members of demo team with the removal of electrical equipment from job site in a safe manner.
load and unload trucks.
prepare toolboxes and equipment for use.
Maintain proper PPE requirements.
prepare stock items for storage. This includes but is not limited to disassembling, cleaning, sorting, and packing of stock items.
Disassemble electrical equipment
Separate and sort materials for recycling.
Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
Requirements:
PROVEN WORKING EXPERIENCE as a warehouse worker, construction laborer, Mechanic, or Electrician
PROVEN EXPERIENCE using hand and power tools
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift 70lbs (consistently)
forklift and pallet jack experience
mechanical abilities/experience (change car oil, change car tire, general mechanical inclination)
OSHA 10 Safety Certification is required for this position. Applicants who have previously completed training will be given priority. Training can be arranged for those who have not.
THE COMPENSATION RANGE FOR THIS JOB IS $18-$30/HR. DO NOT EXPECT TO EARN MORE THAN $22/HR IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ALL OF THE ABOVE REQUIREMENTS

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
