Job Description:
As a Hostess at Lucio's, you will be our guests’ first point of contact. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, seating guests promptly, and ensuring that the front of the house operates smoothly during lunch hours and on Thursdays. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations gracefully.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient seating and service
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area
- Assist with other duties as needed to support the restaurant staff
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Availability to work during lunch hours every day and full day on Thursdays
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
