Plasterer/Painter - Experienced

FULL TIME Plasterer/Painter for Long Island based contracting company, in business 40 years.

High-End Residential Renovations in NYC and Long Island. CAR REQUIRED

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer/Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying plaster and paint to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth, durable finish. This role requires experience in plastering techniques.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for plastering - cleaning, repairing, applying necessary base coats.

Mix plaster materials according to specifications for optimal consistency and application.

Apply plaster using various techniques, ensuring an even, smooth finish

Perform caulking and sealing as needed

Sanding when needed

Prime and Paint surfaces

Utilize power tools effectively in the plastering process while adhering to safety protocols.

Maintain a clean and organized work area on the job site.

Team player

Experience:

Proficiency in caulking, drywall finishing, skim coating, and painting

Previous experience working on job sites is preferred

Knowledge and adherence to safety practices and procedures.

Residential Remodeling - Hi- End homes/Apts INCLUDING KITCHENS / BATHS

5+ Years experience

DRIVERS LICENSE NECESSARY.
