Learn more .JOB SUMMARY: Works under general supervision to coordinate projects to ensure homebuilding process is completed in a prompt, effective, and professional manner according to the KBnxt business model. Provides support to all field personnel on various construction projects involving: Build Schedules, Starts, Safety, Survey Tracking, Orientations, Management Reports/Letters, Invoicing, Trailers/Storage Units, Security, Uniforms/Supplies, and all other duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create New Starts packages, inclusive of all necessary information to required by the field personnel to build each KB Home. Enter all electronic data into internal systems including Web Mylar and HB1.
Process weekly Survey Tracking Reports (multiple) which include Pre-Close / COE / 30 Day / 11 Mth Surveys. Data entry / formatting required on multiple Excel spreadsheets which is then provided to Management and field personnel. Provide follow up on requests for Survey contact changes as needed
Daily data entry in Mylar / HB1 for all new scheduled Buyer orientations, including Community Team Walks. Daily data entry for all completed Building Finals, Community Team walks, KB Quality checkpoint documents, and Buyer orientations in Mylar / HB1
Provide internal support for all construction related invoicing including all related support times to achieve thorough and itmely payment to all vendors and franchise utility providers
Order First Aid Kits, Hard Hats, Fire Extinguishers, Safety Walls to ensure that field has all necessary and current up to date supplies. Order supplies for field such as uniforms, booties, tape, ID signs, misc items, etc and distribute as needed. Process invoices as needed, Order and track Trailers, Storage Containers, copy machines, and all other site set up needs including model home security start up. Order overall site Security (cameras or manned patrol) as needed. Process corresponding invoices as needed
Process Weekly Utility Shut Off reports to ensure that new Homeowners are transferring their utility services and that KB Home is still not paying their bills, Provide an internal Divisional audit verifying compliance with required KB standards regarding QCP, CTW, Energy Star, FSO, and exception tracking and closeout within internal systems
Support Customer Service Department as needed and All other duties as needed
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Education/Certifications/Licenses
High school degree or equivalent required
Associates degree preferred
Experience
Prior office experience preferred, including strong computer usage and typing
Homebuilding construction or customer service experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Exceptional organizational capability, including the ability to multi-task
Strong people skills, including the capability to handle various personalities and develop professional relationships
Action oriented, with the drive to complete projects and tasks to successful closure
Proven ability of being customer centric by seeking solutions from the customer's perspective
Strong verbal & written communication
Strong ability to work within a team-setting, inclusive of other's ideas, and a willingness to cooperate
Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
Work Requirements
Work 8-hour days with flexibility for overtime when necessary
Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner to potential buyers, trade partners, and coworkers to reinforce goodwill and profitability for the company
The position is located in the KB Home Seattle division office at 320 120th Avenue NE, Suite 202, Bellevue, WA. #LI-onsite
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Base Salary: The expected base salary range for this position is $55,000 -60,000 per year depending on experience, paid semi-monthly
Bonus: This position is eligible for a year-end bonus
