Lead Independent Testing Officer - Policy Management

Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com (https://www.wellsfargojobs.com/career-areas/) .The Independent Testing & Validation team is responsible for the development and design of methodologies and standards for review activities across the Enterprise in alignment with the Risk Management Framework and ensuring effective and appropriate testing, validation, and documentation of review activities for risk programs, risks, and controls according to standards and other applicable policies.The Lead Independent Testing Officer role is a senior level contributor who will be focused on leading the effort to maintain and update the Independent Monitoring, Testing, and Validation (IMTV) Policy, including implementation of revised standards and alignment with the Policy Program’s requirements, guidance, and templates. This includes establishing rapport with independent risk management teams who are subject to the policy requirements and providing consultation and guidance on the policy requirements. It also includes partnering with the Enterprise Policy Office to publish the policy. They will be responsible for understanding other Wells Fargo policy and procedures that impact or are related to the IMTV Policy and will be able to translate those impacts into feedback and actions to update the policy. They will also help ensure IMTV Policy requirements are represented accurately in other documents by reviewing policy and procedures companywide and providing feedback as needed. This role also will be responsible for managing desktop procedures for IT&V’s RCSA controls, which includes partnerships with other employees on our team and outside of our team to obtain updated RCSA reporting to reconcile controls and desktop procedures. This role will also help manage the Jira intake service for the Policy and Procedure team, including making changes to the Jira application, establishing and generating reporting to help identify themes, and managing questions and responses received through Jira.In this role, you will:
Lead complex initiatives executing moderate to high risk or complex review activities and engagements in a matrixed environment
Communicate emerging risks with broad impact and act as key participant in large scale planning for Independent Testing
Develop and design methodologies and standards for review activities across the enterprise in alignment with the risk management framework
Review and research complex development and design of methodologies and standards for review activities companywide in alignment with the risk management framework
Ensure effective and appropriate testing, validation, and documentation of review activities for risk programs, risks and controls
Make decisions in complex situations requiring solid understanding of risk management framework and the risk and control environment that influence and lead enterprise testing to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
Collaborate and consult with Audit, Legal, external agencies, and regulatory bodies to resolve risk related topics
Lead project teams and mentor individuals
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Independent Testing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of and ability to work in the Policy Governance Platform (PGP), knowledge of Policy Management Policy requirements and guidance, and advanced knowledge of Wells Fargo writing guidelines and brand standards
Advanced Microsoft Office and Jira skills
Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner, both written and verbal communications
Ability to think strategically, analyze information, and problem solve
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
