Licensed Massage Therapist

We are seeking a Massage Therapist to join our Family-owned Chiropractic Clinic. As a Massage Therapist, you will tailor massage treatments to your patient's individual needs and health goals. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in a variety of massage styles, possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system, and work well as part of a holistic wellness team.

We are open to the discussion of options to be either a W2 employee or 1099 independent contractor.

- Perform a variety of techniques such as deep tissue massage, Swedish, myofascial, cupping, scraping, and stretching.

- Educate clients on self-care and the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on self-care techniques.

- Maintain accurate records of each session.

- Conduct initial assessments to evaluate patients' health history and specific needs.

- Build relationships with clients to assist them with meeting their wellness goals

- Adhere to all sanitation and hygiene standards in accordance with regulatory guidelines and ensuring the massage

therapy room is clean, organized and welcoming for patients.

- Complying with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations.

- Communicate effectively with patients to understand their concerns and preferences.

- Collaborate with chiropractors and other team members to coordinate and enhance patient care.

- Valid state license or certification as a Massage Therapist.

- Experience preferred with Deep Tissue, pre and postnatal massage, cupping. Training available.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Strongly service oriented with an ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one setting

- High level of ethics and integrity.

- Stay informed about advancements in massage therapy techniques and related healthcare practices.

- Previous experience in a physical medicine setting is a plus but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week
