Night Auditor/Logistics Runner for Short-Term Rental Properties

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Auditor/Logistics Runner to support the overnight operations of our short-term rental properties. This role is responsible for conducting nightly audits, managing guest check-ins/check-outs, and handling logistics during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, experience in hospitality, and the ability to resolve guest issues promptly and professionally.

Duties

- Perform nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in all reports and identifying any discrepancies.

- Manage overnight check-ins and check-outs for guests staying at our short-term rental properties.

- Provide outstanding customer service by promptly addressing guest needs, inquiries, and concerns.

- Handle phone calls with professionalism, displaying strong phone etiquette.

- Resolve guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction by collaborating with other departments when necessary.

- Prepare and submit daily reports for management, highlighting any issues or discrepancies encountered during the shift.

- Ensure the safety and security of the properties during overnight hours.

- Assist with logistics, including coordinating with cleaning and maintenance teams to prepare properties for the next day’s operations.

Requirements

- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or logistics support roles.

- Must have reliable transportation.

- Must live within a 25-mile radius of the office for quick and easy commuting.

- Previous hospitality or property management experience is preferred.

- Knowledge of night audit procedures and hospitality management systems is a plus.

- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle guest relations effectively.

- Ability to work independently overnight while maintaining attention to detail.

- Flexibility to handle diverse tasks related to both guest services and property logistics.

- Multilingual abilities are a plus for interacting with a diverse range of guests.
