Job Title: TechnologistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled technologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for explaining procedures and processes to patients, maintaining a safe and professional work environment, and ensuring quality control in imaging. You will also perform various medical assistant duties, including taking vital signs, recording health history, and using electronic medical records (EMR).Responsibilities

Explain procedures and processes to patients

Maintain a safe, healthy, and professional work environment

Review and ensure proper identification and quality control of images

Maintain required documentation pertaining to x-ray imaging

Perform vital signs, health history, and EMR duties as a medical assistant

Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalent

Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology

Advanced MD experience; Epic EMR experience preferred

Front and back office experience

Strong customer service and patient care skills

Work EnvironmentThis position requires working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) from 8 AM to 4 PM. If you work a weekend, you will receive a day off during the week. The work environment can be challenging, requiring thick skin due to the nature of the patients and staff. You will be working in an urgent care setting, so excellent customer service skills are essential. You should be willing to assist in the front office as needed. The job involves lifting a minimum of 25 lbs., pushing and pulling a minimum of 50 lbs., and standing for at least 6 hours a day. Initial training includes Epic training, front desk training for 2 days, clinical training for 1 day, and 4 hours of x-ray training with the lead x-ray tech.About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
