Virginia Mason Franciscan Health seeks a highly analytical and results-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to play a critical role in our financial planning and decision-making processes. This isn't just number crunching; it's about transforming data into actionable intelligence that drives significant organizational impact.What you'll do:
Develop and maintain sophisticated reports: You'll build and refine complex statistical, financial, and operational reports across multiple systems, including provider compensation, performance, and business intelligence. Your expertise will ensure accurate and timely reporting for short- and long-range financial/operational planning.
Lead in-depth analyses: Dive deep into data to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and support senior management decision-making. Your analyses will inform strategic initiatives across service lines, facilities, and departments.
Master multiple systems: You'll become a master of our financial reporting systems, understanding the intricate linkages between them and leveraging your skills in SQL, Crystal Reports, and other data manipulation tools to extract and present critical information.
Collaborate and influence: You'll work closely with senior management, explaining complex financial data in clear, concise terms and influencing strategic decisions with organization-wide implications.
Streamline processes: You'll contribute to the capital budgeting process, ensuring the accurate and timely flow of information. In some roles, you'll also oversee daily G/L interfaces, reconciliations, and process improvements.
QualificationsWhat you'll bring:
Advanced analytical skills and experience with statistical modeling.
Proficiency in SQL, Crystal Reports, and other data manipulation/extraction tools.
Strong understanding of relational databases and financial reporting systems.
Excellent communication and presentation skills – ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.
Experience with labor analytics software is a plus.
We're seeking a Bachelor's degree holder with at least four years of relevant experience (healthcare experience a plus!). If you've got the skills and drive to make a real impact, we want to hear from you. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
