Expected job functions include:
inventory management of capital equipment, SSD test drives, interposer HW, and consumable lab components that make up the HW test stack (cables, adapters, etc.).
Debugging of test HW and SW from a test setup perspective.
Debugging of network issues; occasional setup support (in concert with IT) for new lab builds.
Organizing lab ramp actions as part of ramp phases for new drive development programs.
Procurement via Ariba tool, internal catalog
Evolving of current lab process, bringing skills and experience to bear on manual and inefficient processes to express a vision for automation and other process improvement
Point of contact for PVE to global lab teams
Additionally, we expect this engineer to occasionally be exposed to the following as a matter of cross-training and TM support:
Execute the product validation test plan on assigned projects using Micron internal test tool and 3rd party standard tools.
Perform triage and
failure analysis of observed test failures.
Setup protocol analyzers for bus trace
capture of protocol traffic.
Perform bus trace capture of protocol traffic.
Analyze the bus trace logs from any capture to help debug test failures.
Report on ongoing test status.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, InformationTechnology, Computer Science or a related technical field and 24 months ofexperience, or total related experience of no less than 7 years.The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:$92,000.00 - $194,000.00Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
