CNC Lathe and/or Swiss Setup Persons
CNC Lathe and Swiss Setup and Operator Positions available
CNC and Swiss Manufacturer has 1st Shift Positions for experienced candidates. Candidate must have experience in blueprint reading, part inspection and be able to complete the first article reports. Knowledge of tooling and job troubleshooting is required.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC lathe and/or Swiss machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications

- Candidate must have their own basic tools
- Load and unload workpieces into the machine
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments, offsets as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance on machines, such as cleaning and lubricating
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, such as calipers and micrometers, to ensure they meet specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine machining requirements
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating CNC lathe machines is required
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments, such as calipers and micrometers
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools effectively
- Must have basic knowledge of cutting tools and be able to change and reset part dimensions as needed.
- Ability to program CNC machines is a plus
- Experience with laser cutting is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
- Must be organized, flexible, and be a team player

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 to start depending on experience.
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
