As a Sales Representative, your role will be pivotal in expanding Pearson's array of digital, print, and service solutions tailored to professional disciplines.Your RoleAs a Higher Education Inside Sales Representative, your primary responsibility is to sell effective and innovative digital, print, and service solutions that address the challenges faced by students, faculty, and institutions today. To thrive in this role, you'll need a strong drive for achievement, a proven track record of consistently surpassing goals, comfort in navigating digital platforms, and a heartfelt passion for education.This is a remote/home-based position with limited travel, including occasional visits to local college campuses and national meetings. Please note that we do not offer relocation packages for this position.This position is eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan, and information on benefits offered is here.Key AccountabilitiesYour journey includes:

Achieving or surpassing territory sales targets by offering course-based solutions to faculty, thereby gaining market share.

Accelerating the shift toward subscription-based materials to tackle student affordability and access challenges.

Collaborating with specialists and account executives to implement effective program-wide or institution-wide solutions.

Conducting impactful back-to-school campaigns that boost student engagement.

Collaborating with bookstores to drive sell-through.

Crucially, tracking and forecasting in OneCRM (Salesforce.com).

Key ResponsibilitiesYour day-to-day will involve:

Engaging with faculty members through virtual meetings, phone calls, and email exchanges.

The target is to connect with at least 15 faculty members daily using consultative sales techniques that lead to successful partnerships.

Demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and follow-up capabilities.

Maintaining accurate and timely tracking and forecasting using OneCRM (Salesforce.com).

Collaborating closely with enterprise account-level sales professionals to promote Inclusive Access and additional services.

Developing strategic plans at both the territory and adoption level.

Delivering effective technology sales presentations to faculty and conducting technology training sessions for students.

Collaborating seamlessly with customer success teams, subject matter experts, and operations to ensure the highest faculty satisfaction.

Implementing company initiatives within your sales territory.

Staying up-to-date with Pearson's products, platforms, and capabilities.

Remaining informed about developments in the educational industry and market trends.

Fostering collaboration by sharing successful strategies and tactics with colleagues at the district, regional, and national levels.

Demonstrating a commitment to lifelong learning while actively supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
