Journeyman carpenter

Journeyman Carpenter position available

for a high end residential construction company

Full time 40 hour weeks

Responsibilities :

- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and sketches

- Selecting, measuring and marking materials for installation

- Constructing, installing and repairing structures and fixtures

- Ensuring compliance with local buildeing codes and regulations

- Collaborating with other team members to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard

Qualifications:

- Journeyman carpenter certification or equivelent experience

- Proven experience in carpentry and construction

- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods

- Ability to operate hand and power tools effectivly and safely

- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail

Requirements :

- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors

- Strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork and safety

- Valid drivers license
