Learn more about our extraordinary teams building inspiring projects in our Impact Report .Project Overview:Driftwood LNG LLC is located approximately 11 miles southwest of Lake Charles, Louisiana. The project includes a mid-scale, mixed-refrigerant Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on the west side of the Calcasieu River. There are five identical process plants. Each process plant consists of one gas pre-treatment unit, one condensate stabilization unit, and four Chart heavy hydrocarbon (HHC) removal and liquefaction groups. The facility will include associated utilities, refrigerant storage, three 235,000m3 full-containment LNG storage tanks, and three marine berths.Job Summary:Knowledgeable individual to assist in providing daily oversight and compliance support of FTZ transactions, as well as FTZ specific training. Candidate should have experience with importing, exporting, in-bond transactions, and CBP and FTZ regulations and compliance specific to FTZ User requirements. #LI-CS1Major Responsibilities:

Review FTZ admissions (e-214).

Review withdrawals for exportation and IT (QP/WP CBP Forms 7512)

Review withdrawals for consumption with designated Customs Broker

Review withdrawals for bonded warehouses and zone to zone transfers

Review manipulations, destructions, and temporary removals (CBPF 216)

Verify FTZ related data provided to Customer’s FTZ Operator.

Validate FTZ data against actual documentation as needed to ensure accuracy of information provided to FTZ Operator

Coordinate FTZ activities with project logistics team to manage inbound & outbound materials shipments.

Provide monthly updates to FTZ Operator

Reconcile the shipment records with the FTZ Operator or Broker ICRS system.

Conduct reviews/audits of all FTZ records while ensuring accurate and complete record keeping are maintained for FTZ admissions and withdrawals

Provide required data to FTZ Operator to fulfill FTZ reports (Yearly Blanket CBP form 216, Annual Reconciliation, Certification Letter, FTZ Board Report) Assist FTZ Operations Team in preparation of annual reports to U.S. Customs & the FTZ Board

Support FTZ Operations Team in troubleshooting discrepancies, and report as necessary

Keep updated with legislation changes impacting foreign trade zones

Oversight of Project FTZ operations and compliance.

Lead FTZ tasks such as FTZ admissions, removals, bonded movements, reporting, and metrics

Document and communicate procedures for Project FTZ operations

Provide FTZ Training as needed to support Project Teams

Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5+ years of FTZ Experience (Including, customs reporting, FTZ software knowledge) or 10+ years of related FTZ and import experience in FTZ operations in lieu of bachelors Degree

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Understanding of HTSUS merchandise classification and import transactions

Candidates for this position should possess a working knowledge of logistics activities including import activities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Possess Knowledge of logistics terminology

Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
