Welder
Job Title: NADCAP Certified WelderJob DescriptionAs a NADCAP Certified Welder, you will set up and operate all welding equipment, perform tig/spot welding on metal parts, and weld small metal components. You will ensure compliance with blueprint and work instruction specifications, complete necessary paperwork, and interface with other departments to solve problems and maintain workflow. You will also use measuring equipment and continuously seek opportunities to improve processes.Responsibilities
Set up and operate all equipment for welding operations.
Perform tig/spot welding on metal parts.
Weld small metal components.
Complete all necessary paperwork, including scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers and data, Follower Tags, ATP, etc.
Produce and measure product to ensure compliance with blueprint and work instruction specifications.
Interface with other departments to solve problems and maintain smooth workflow.
Communicate ideas, problems, and concerns to management.
Use all measuring equipment (i.e., calipers, height stands, bubble point machine, etc.).
Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures, and communicate them to management.
Qualifications
NADCAP certification.
Proficiency in tig/spot welding.
Experience with blueprint interpretation and quality inspection.
Ability to use measuring equipment (i.e., calipers, height stands, bubble point machine, etc.).
High school diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED).
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in tig/spot, seam, torch, silver brazing, or component welding activities.
Basic math skills.
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, job sheets, and written work instructions.
Excellent mechanical skills and abilities.
