VP/Director of Finance

Description We are in search of a VP/Director of Finance to be a part of our team in a suburb near Joliet, Illinois. In this role, you will be expected to manage various accounting functions, deal with accounts payable, and handle the annual budget. The position involves working with BSNA software for financial operations and ensuring effective communication within the team. Your responsibilities will also include preparing for audits and managing budget processes.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all accounting functions Handle accounts payable efficiently and accurately Develop and manage the annual budget Utilize BSNA software for various financial operations Ensure effective communication within the team and with stakeholders Prepare and plan for upcoming audits Manage budget processes and ensure their smooth execution Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, promoting a conducive team environment. Reconcile books regularly to maintain up-to-date financial records Liaise with external firms and attorneys specializing in bonds as needed. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Requirements Proven experience in a VP/Director of Finance role or similar, with a minimum of 5 years. Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems. Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions. Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP). Experience in preparing and managing the Annual Budget. Skilled in Auditing procedures and practices. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
