With nearly 340,000 members in 180 countries, SHRM touches the lives of more than 362 million workers and their families globally.SUMMARYThe Sr Director, Enterprise Sales Team is focused on growing the business of SHRM through business relationships with current and potential Fortune 2000, partners (i.e., key business leaders and HR executives in multinational corporations and large national companies). This role sets the strategy for the sales to Enterprise market segments in collaboration with Marketing and Membership leaders.Responsibilities:· Directs and oversees SHRM’s sales, objectives, and initiatives as well as all the responsibilities of the sales team· Sets short-and long-term sales strategies and evaluates effectiveness of current sales programs· Gains a thorough understanding of SHRM’s organization and product/service offerings.· Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.· Lead business development opportunities and engage with CHRO’s and business Leaders to create leads for the sales team.· Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes· Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or High School diploma with extended relevant experience required
10+ years of professional experience in business development, client relationship management, and account development.
Experience driving sales of HR-related programs or services (or equivalent products/services) at the executive level using consultative sales techniques.
Successful past performance in business development (developing customer relationships, account strategies, developing a qualified pipeline, and capturing large scale deals).
