Freelance Private Debate Coach Wanted

We are looking for a private debate coach for our daughter in middle school to help her make the team and then succeed on the team. We would prefer in-person. This is, of course, freelance and just a few hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and experience working with students in various settings. This role is designed for individuals who are committed to fostering a positive learning environment and enhancing the educational experience for learners. As a Coach, you will play a vital role in guiding our student, providing support, and helping her achieve her academic goals.

Responsibilities

- Educate and mentor this student through personalized coaching sessions.

- Develop and implement effective tutoring strategies tailored to individual learning styles.

- Communicate effectively with our student and her parents to provide updates on progress and areas for improvement.

- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as necessary

Requirements

- Proven experience working with students in educational or tutoring environments.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey concepts and instructions.

- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and understanding.

- Experience in childcare settings is a plus, showcasing the ability to engage with younger audiences.

- A commitment to continuous professional development and improvement in coaching practices.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $75.00 per hour
