Sr. Program Manager - Content & Engagement, Expense Experience & Frugality Program

This role will join our growing Expense Experience & Frugality Program under Finance Operations, and be based out of our Arlington, VA corporate offices, reporting to the Senior Customer Experience (CX) Program Manager.As the Content and Engagement Program Manager, you'll lead the strategic and tactical development of communications that educate and empower Amazon employees globally. This includes creating and editing launch announcements, support center responses, change management campaigns, interactive training materials, and engaging web content. You'll work backwards from the employee experience to deliver high-impact messaging across a range of channels, and measure success using both quantitative and qualitative data.Our ideal candidate is an independent problem solver with a proven track record of building successful communication programs that drive high-quality user engagement and achieve intended business outcomes. You'll be a subject matter expert on communication channels and best practices, regularly providing your point of view and leveraging your internal communications and user experience expertise. Collaborating across business functions, regions, and all levels of the organization, you'll ensure the expense experience is well-represented in our content strategies.Key job responsibilitiesThis is a high potential and high visibility role with the following responsibilities: Proactively seek and evaluate opportunities to deliver the right message to the right employee at the right time, as part of a comprehensive communication strategy that supports the organization's business objectives Craft compelling, audience-focused messaging that educates, empowers, and drives measurable action for campaign initiatives Produce visually striking, engagement-optimized multimedia assets (e.g. graphics, videos, interactive content) to support desired campaign outcomes Pursue a deep understanding of the Finance Operations team's goals and ongoing changes, creating proactive, automated communications where appropriate Collaborate cross-functionally with product teams, customer support, and global partners to ensure communications are aligned with broader organizational goals Devise content strategy and editorial calendars to deliver engaging, informative, and conversion-focused content across multiple channels (internal wikis, emails, trainings, etc.) Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for communications initiatives, including planning, execution, and performance tracking Conduct research to better understand employee needs, pain points, and preferences, then leverage these insights to create relevant, impactful campaignsBasic Qualifications
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
5+ years of experience in an editorial, communications, or content strategy role
Excellent writing, editing, and content creation skills across various mediums
Demonstrated ability to transform complex information into user-friendly, engaging content
Strong intuition and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to measuring success
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of change management experience
Proficiency with content management, production, and email tools
Proficiency in leading cross-functional teams and projects to deliver high-impact results
Expertise in project management, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Experience leading market research projects and using those insights to drive improvements to communication strategies
Familiarity with expense management processes and tools
Knowledge of best practices in employee engagement and internal branding
