Staffing Support/Recruiter
Type: Full Time, Internal Role
Pay: $22-$25/hr depending on experience
Work Schedule: Must have open availability, position requires early mornings, weekends, nights
POSITION SUMMARY
The Staffing Support position is to assist the Hospitality Staffing Manager to ensure excellent customer service for our company's biggest clients in the hospitality field.

Placement activities: Select well-matched candidates to fulfill client job orders and maintain on-going contact with client companies and temporary professionals currently on assignment to ensure both receive exceptional customer service; resolve any customer service issues quickly and efficiently to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction; additional opportunities through contact with temporary professionals on assignment and client companies to grow our business and uncover job opportunities for our candidates.
Candidate recruitment and retention: This person will also be assisting with recruiting employees and new hire paperwork. That involves completing a new hire checklist and reviewing documents for accuracy and completion. This position also requires data entry of new hire packets into employee databases, performing background checks, performing drug tests and assisting in hiring sessions. The position will also be phone screening applicants and conducting initial interviews with potential candidates.
HR responsibilities: The position will include interviewing for harassment, discrimination, employee work injury report, employee HR issues and provide the information to management for review. It will require working at or visiting client locations to do site visits, employee meals, employee parties, site specific recruiting, interviews, client meetings and employee training.
Other daily and weekly responsibilities:
Answer and direct incoming calls, and making outbound calls to employees.
Answering employee related questions.
Scheduling employee interviews.
Scheduling employees based on contract/client requests.
Provide employees with their daily/weekly schedules and reminders of confirmed schedules.
Calling employees to confirm their schedules.
Scheduling employees to report to client locations and additional clerical duties as assigned.
Review sign-in sheets and employee clockings on Timedox for accuracy in order to submit and process payroll.
Handle Payroll inquiries.
Fold and/or hang laundered shirts.
Conduct check-ins for five (5) or more employees on location/jobsite.
Issue uniform items to employees needed for their job or during check-ins.
Find replacements for call-outs and no call/no shows.
Coach, counsel and conduct disciplinary review with employee(s).
Monthly and as needed:
Post Job Ads on external Job Boards (Craigslist, Indeed, Company Job Posting),
Attend Hiring Events, and Job Fairs.
Perform inventory of office supplies (printing paper, printer ink, pens) and uniform.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal Staffing Support member will meet most or all of the following requirements:
One (1) or more years directly related experience.
College education or work experience in a relevant business field.
Show true passion about servicing our applicants/employees/clients on a daily basis.
Proficient in Excel, GSuite, ATS systems
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Exceptional client management and communication skills.
Proven people and team management experience.
Ability to audit daily records including schedules, timecards and time clocks.
Greet guests/employees in a professional, friendly and hospitable manner, exhibit excellent phone skills.
Ability to manage the recruiting and scheduling process for a labor pool of up to 200 employees.
Self motivated to work until all required work.
Extreme attention to detail, strong analytical skills, highly organized, and focused on work quality.
Self-starter with a positive attitude, desire to exceed expectations at every opportunity.
Ability to communicate with people from a culturally diverse background.
Other Requirements
Required to assist other staff members as needed. Prior experience working for a human resource administration or recruiting firm is a plus. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, early hours, and overnight shifts based on events.
