Our client, a leading NY State Agency, is seeking a Project Manager- Solar (Operations) to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be part of the NY-Sun Initiative supporting the Residential / Nonresidential Program staff. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team setting, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Project Manager- Solar (Operations)Location: Albany, New York (100% Remote)What's the Job?Assist with operations of the Residential / Non Residential Program including, but not limited to:

outreach and engagement with participating contractors and customers, coordination with Quality and Market Standards (QMS) and updates to contractor status, support Program staff with new contractor applications and onboarding.

Assist with project modifications and design reviews for project applications

Work with staff and contractors to continue development of SOPs and guidance documents for contractors, and perform other duties as assigned that contribute to the goals of the NY-Sun and Energy Storage teams.

What's Needed?

3-6 years of experience of relevant experience with a basic knowledge and understanding of solar PV and energy storage.

Ability to implement operational processes for the NY-Sun Program.

Ability to communicate clearly with NY-Sun Participating Contractors and customers.

Knowledge of Salesforce (highly preferred).

Knowledge and understanding of NY-Sun and other Distributed Energy Resource Programs (preferred).

General knowledge of the NY Solar and Storage market and industry (preferred).

BS in Engineering, Business Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
