Safety and Asset Maintenance coordinator
About the Role:
A safety and asset maintenance coordinator is responsible for overseeing maintenance activities, ensuring safety and compliance, and managing equipment and resources:
Safety and compliance
Ensure that maintenance operations comply with regulations and standards.
Maintenance activities
Oversee maintenance activities, including scheduling repairs, servicing, and preventive maintenance.
Equipment and resources
Manage inventory, monitor the usage of tools and equipment, and ensure tools are readily available.
Administrative support
Provide administrative support to maintenance supervisors and technicians, including managing work orders.
Maintenance budget
Assist with developing a comprehensive maintenance budget and sometimes handle payments for maintenance services.
Maintenance records
Update maintenance records by inputting data into maintenance management systems.
Maintenance reports
Prepare reports on maintenance status and budget for upper management.
A maintenance coordinator's responsibilities can involve multitasking and juggling several projects at once. They should be organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities:
· Monitor driver safety (speed, hard braking, etc) and train drivers daily.
· Monitor driver logs for violations.
· Monitor and maintain truck ELDs and GPS are working and contact Motive to troubleshoot.
· Track trailer GPS and ensure good tracking.
· Schedule, maintain and follow up on truck PM and repair schedules.
· Schedule WH repair orders.
· Other duties as needed.

Bilingual English/Spanish with the ability to communicate orally and written in both languages. is a plus

Minimum Qualifications:
· High School Diploma. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field (preferred). A higher degree of education may be substituted for experience. Years of working knowledge in a safety professional’s position may be substituted for education requirements. is a plus
· One or more years of experience in a safety related position with training experience.
· Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local safety regulations.
· Ability to use essential office equipment (computer, phone, copier, etc.).
· Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office.
Rate: Bet. $19- $21 depending on experience
