Well-Known Commercial Real Estate Investment Firm in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a new Full-Time/Permanent Office Manager to join its growing team! This person will be based in New York City, but responsible for managing a total of 6 offices across the company. Candidates must have a minimum of 5+ years of applicable hands-on office management experience working for a 50-person firm or larger (open to industry/backgrounds), and a Bachelor’s degree is required. Ideal candidates should have experience working with landlords, knowledge of computers/computer updates, possess a positive, flexible, “no task is too big or small” mentality, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have zero attitude. Salary depends on experience (150-165k+ base), plus discretionary bonus eligibility. Company covers a substantial portion of medical/dental/vision (87.5-90% depending on level), 401k, etc.

Hours are 9:00am-5:00pm, with flexibility to be available evenings/on weekends. Hybrid work schedule (4-5 days in office, depending on needs).

Responsibilities:

Responsible for all office management and maintenance-related issues, including ensuring everything is working properly/fixed, liaising with vendors and maintenance staff, being present when repairs are being done (i.e., lights not working, computers going down, etc.).

Oversee and manage cleaning staff, outsource providers, vendors, etc., acting as primary point of contact.

Coordinate travel arrangements and detailed itineraries, including flights, hotel accommodations, car services/ground transportation, etc. using Concur.

Responsible for checking emails on weekends for travel and building-related issues.

Responsible for supply management, including ordering and organizing office and kitchen supplies as well as technical equipment, ensuring everything is stocked, paper is in the printer, etc.

General office organization.

Handle office moves and construction projects.

Assist with ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Minimum 5+ years of applicable hands-on office management experience working for a 50-person firm or larger. Open to industry/backgrounds.

Bachelor’s degree required.

Experience working with landlords.

Knowledge of computers/computer updates.

Positive, flexible, “no task it too big or small” attitude/mentality.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
