The CSCP Organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), decommissioning and disposition of Data center assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Skype, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with a passion to solve complex business problems. You will help us deliver highly scalable services and world-class product experiences. You will have opportunities to work on multiple layers of the technology stack, ranging from customer-focused user experience work, building scalable distributed cloud services, and everything in between. Contribute to a high functioning feature team.

You will collaborate closely with multiple teams across Microsoft to deliver key planning solutions and the technology to support them.

Help contribute to the design and implementation of future architecture for a highly scalable, durable, and low latency capacity planning system.

Help gather, define, cost, and implement engineering deliverables.

QualificationsRequired/Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to quickly pick up existing concepts and employ new techniques.

Problem solving and communication skills.

Solid track-record of working with partner teams and managing dependencies.

Experience in Supply Chain is not required but is desirable.

Software Engineering IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $81,900 - $160,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $105,600 - $174,600 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
