We are currently seeking apurpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an openposition as Lab Technician or a Senior Lab Technician located in Rolla,MO.?Summary:Conducts laboratory analyses, experiments, and processes to support research and development projects.Responsibilities:Lab Technician:

Performs sample preparation.

Conducts experiments, including chemical reactions, under supervision.

Processes data and provides analysis summary.

Helps to create new testing processes.

Knowledge and understanding of safety and housekeeping standards and practiced in daily activities.

Learn and keep familiar with lab procedures.

Keep a well-documented laboratory notebook and have it co-signed within two weeks.

Responsible for communicating with supervisor and team members.

Senior Lab Technician:Additional duties as Senior Lab Technician:?

Ensure that the use and storage of inspection/measuring/test equipment or instrument is such that the accuracy, precision, and fitness for use are maintained

Perform key functional tests (e.g. chromatography, spectroscopy, etc.) on BSI products, intermediate materials, and raw materials

Responsible for maintaining control charts for equipment

Basic troubleshooting capability: understands normal functions of equipment, recognizes and identifies problems and knows who to pull in for assistance

Apply knowledge in all phases of product testing, SPC, and Control of Non-Conforming Product

Participate on Operations Teams (MRB, CAR, etc.)

Education and Credentials:Lab Technician:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus experience in a lab or chemical manufacturing environment or

Associate Degree or

Equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Senior Lab Technician:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus 6 years related experience in a lab or chemical manufacturing environment or

Associates Degree plus two years experience or

Bachelors Degree preferred or

Equivalent combination of education and related experience
