Private Tutor (In Person - McDonough Area)

Opportunity to make a difference in the lives of families Tutoring is one-on-one Flexible schedule We handle all billing and client acquisition Students are pre-screened Portal is provided for scheduling and tracking of student engagements RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct in-home tutoring sessions Design and implement tutoring plan tailored to student needs Establish academic goals and milestones with students Provide constructive feedback to students and families Provide study skills support Align tutoring to the school curriculum Schedule tutoring sessions clients Maintain professionalism MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school or equivalent (Required) Tutoring/Teaching: 1 year Teacher certification a plus Have reliable transportation Strong administrative skills Access to the internet, a computer, and a smart phone Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills Must be 18 and able to pass a background check. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree (can be in progress) 2 or more years of experience teaching or tutoring Strong math skills Kindergarten through college STARTING PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND RANGE & COMPLEXITY OF SUBJECTS 'Work Location:Multiple locations Grade school specialties: English High school Math Middle school Reading Schedule: After school Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
