Mobile Canning Line Operator

Tinman Mobile Canning LLC, a high-speed mobile canning company that packages craft beverages for many of the region's breweries, wineries, cideries, etc., is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to assist with operating our canning lines. The position offers competitive pay and benefits, hands-on training and significant growth potential for the right candidate. This person will work directly with Tinman Owners/Operators. Industry experience or mechanical aptitude are a plus, but first and foremost we are looking for a good attitude and strong work ethic! Customer service is number one.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with all aspects of operating a beverage packaging line including, but not limited to:
Mastering the complexities of operating mobile canning equipment
Troubleshooting beverage conditions and mechanical problems
Extensive cleaning and sanitizing of the equipment
Stocking the truck and trailer with supplies prior to canning run
Enforcing quality control, efficiency, and accurate statistical tracking
Working closely with Tinman clientele (owners, breweries, winemakers, etc)
Requirements:
You enjoy working with your hands, mechanical know-how a plus but not required.
Close attention to detail
Strong communication skills
You are customer driven and results oriented
You understand that long, irregular hours are commonplace in the craft beverage industry
Working at different breweries/wineries in the area sounds like a cool perk of the job
You’re 21+ years of age
You have your own transportation
You have previous brewery/winery or packaging experience (not required)
Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of conditions at job sites including loud noise, high and low temperatures and small working areas.
Physical demands:
Ability to continuously stand or walk
Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Ability to perform repetitive motion functions in support of canning line operations
Ability to pass a DOT physical and motor vehicle driving record review if asked.
Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel overnight occasionally. Tinman is based in Clackamas, OR, but frequently works all over
Oregon and Washington.
Occasional overnights are expected, with all expenses paid by the company.

Job Type: Full- time
