PC Technician

Description We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated PC Technician for a contract role based in Chicago. This is a unique opportunity to support our dynamic and fast-paced company that operates on Windows operating systems.Role Responsibilities:

Provide IT support by diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults related to PCs.

Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging, etc.)

Undertake regular maintenance and updates of computer systems and applications.

Replace parts as required in alignment with break-fix protocols.

Provide feedback and detailed reports on daily operations, systems errors, and resolutions.

Test and improve IT operations to meet the company's needs.

Liaise with clients to determine the nature of issues and assist them.

Requirements

Experience as computer technician or similar role.

Comprehensive knowledge of PC hardware and Windows operating systems.

Strong break-fix experience with ability to repair or replace computer parts.

Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

Ability to create and follow procedures and keep detailed reports.

Strong customer service skills, ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Relevant certifications will be considered a plus.
