Within the Material department, you will perform Inventory tasks and regularly use stackers, swing trucks, walkies and other power industrial equipment. In addition to daily tasks, you will participate in safety, quality, and process improvement initiatives.How Will You Make an Impact?:We want enthusiastic, dependable, hard-working, standout colleagues that will make a difference for our customers and fellow colleagues every day. Receiving, examining, sorting, arranging, counting, storing, picking, and packing items for storage and/or shipment in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements.
Preparing and filing routine documentation.
Maintaining quality metrics.
Operating material handling equipment (e.g. hand truck, pallet jack, Forklift etc).
Working in and out of a +4c walk-in Cold Room and -20c walk-in Freezer.
Education:High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience:
No previous work experience required
Preferred: Experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field
Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Ability to analyze and solve problems independently as well as collaboratively.
Self-motivated, self-starter with strong organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, successful in partnering with colleagues of differing cultural, language and educational backgrounds.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Close vision and ability to adjust focus are required.
Regularly required to lift up to 20 pounds. May be required to lift weight of 45 pounds or more, with assistance and/or with equipment on occasion.
