Van Conversion Carpenter/Builder
At Papago Vans, we build custom, high-quality camper vans that are ready for life on the road. We're passionate about delivering exceptional van builds and are looking for a skilled Van Conversion Builder to join our team. If you're a talented carpenter with a love for craftsmanship, and you have an interest in working with electrical, plumbing, solar, tile, and flooring, this is the job for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carpentry: Lead the van conversion process by constructing custom cabinetry, furniture, and interior wood features.
-Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of builders to complete van conversions from start to finish, ensuring the highest quality craftsmanship.
- Plumbing & Electrical: Assist with plumbing and electrical installations, including wiring systems, waterlines, and solar setups.
- Solar, Tile & Flooring: Contribute to solar system installations, tile work, and flooring as part of the overall build process.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure all aspects of the build meet company standards for quality, functionality, and design.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Carpentry Expertise: Proven experience in carpentry and wood construction, with a focus on custom furniture and cabinetry.
- Basic Plumbing & Electrical Knowledge: Familiarity with basic plumbing and electrical work is a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to Learn: Strong desire to learn and grow in other areas of van conversion, such as solar installation, tile, and flooring.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Attention to Detail: Precision and pride in your work, ensuring top-quality results in every van build.
