Check out what it's like to work with us at https://www.healthykidsprograms.com/workwithus.REPORTS TO:Senior Regional Director, Healthy Kids Extended Day ProgramDIRECT REPORTS:Program Site StaffJOB STATUS:Non ExemptHOURS:20-25 hours per weekPAYRATE:$19.50We are currently looking for a Part Time Regional Director for our Before/After School Programs in Montgomery, NY.SUMMARY:Oversee Healthy Kids School Age operations in multiple school districts consisting of before/after school programs and summer programs.JOB CONSISTS OF:Manage all aspects of the School Age with a special focus on
Recruiting, supervising, professionally developing and training a highly qualified staff to deliver a consistent, high quality service in all sites having similar programs.
Managing an operation that follows New York State School Age regulations, and/or DOH camp permits.
Operating excellent programs that:
a. Follow Healthy Kids Best Practices and Curriculum that serve as the foundation for Healthy Kids “Consistent Excellence” Philosophy.b. Feature superior classroom management skills and excellent parent communicationc. Feature a warm, nurturing, positive, safe environment.d. Prevent problems with pro-active management and handle those that happen in an effective, positive manner that emphasizes good communication.
Leading in a positive, upbeat, yet confident style with an emphasis on effective communication and addressing issues head on
Hire, Train, supervise, professionally develop, support and help hire Site leaders and staff to deliver excellent programs.
Monitor and address performance issues in a timely manner so that personnel understand their areas of improvement and have the chance to bring their skills up to our standards of excellence.
Work with the Senior Regional Director to constantly improve the program by communicating issues and working on better ways of operating.
Oversee payroll for program staff, including inputting staff schedules, approving daily time cards, tracking hours, running payroll reports, and ensuring timely, accurate payroll.
Work closely with the Registration staff to ensure that all students that should be in the program have completed paperwork.
Work with Marketing to obtain important program information and materials for website, and social media
Maintain good working relationships with site hosts including school principals, school administration, school custodial staff, OCFS and Childcare Councils.
Liaise with other departments, senior management and parents.
Adhere to and consistently enforce companies Code of Conduct, policies & procedures and New York State guidelines.
Develop and execute grassroots marketing strategies to increase program visibility, including outreach to local schools, community centers, and families.
Organize and attend community events, parent meetings, and school fairs to promote enrollment and strengthen partnerships.
Distribute flyers, social media posts, and other promotional materials to build awareness and drive interest in programs.
Develop strategies to drive student enrollment and improve retention across all programs.
Track enrollment numbers, staff to ratio.
Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective families, providing program information and answering questions to facilitate enrollment.
RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree or Associates with 2-3 years of supervisory experience. Superior administrative and supervisory skills with experience preferably in a consumer-driven environment. Excellent customer service and parent communication skills. Track record of working as a team and helping to create a team oriented work environment. Commitment to delivering excellent programs and managing personnel expenses. Must pass full background check including fingerprinting and reference checking Must be medically fit to perform job duties.
