Work Year: ESY 2025
Supervisor: Director of Pupil Personnel Services
Minimum Requirements:
Certified Speech Language Teacher or Occupational Therapist;
Experience in working with students with disabilities;
Meeting or exceeding standards as determined by the Professional Performance Review process.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in working with students with autism and challenging behaviors;
Certified CPI and/or TCI Preferred.
Position Summary/Responsibilities:
This extended school year position will be available pending student enrollment.
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK THE ENTIRE SUMMER SESSION (Tentative dates are July 7th through August 15th, 2024).
SET UP DAY: TBD (Attendance Required)
8:00 am to 2:00 pm
(Paid for up to 6 Hours at the Professional rate ($35) per the GTA contract or the individual GUSS member's
hourly rate)
RATE OF PAY BASED: GTA
- 1.0 Position: (32.5 hours per week) 1/200th of GTA Contractual Annual Salary.
- Less than 1.0 Position: (less than 32.5 hours per week) Determined by the number of hours worked per day and paid at
hourly rate based on 1/200th of GTA Contractual Annual Salary.
RATE OF PAY BASED UPON HOURS WORKED PER GUSS CONTRACT:
- Daily Hours less than 6 hours paid at hourly rate.
- Daily Hours equal to or greater than 6 hours paid at daily rate.
