Hartwig is seeking a self-motivated, creative and results oriented HR Recruiter to contribute to Hartwig's success as a CNC Machine Tool distributor. As an experienced talent acquisition professional, you will play a critical role in identifying and sourcing high-quality candidates to meet our business needs. You will manage the full-cycle recruitment process while providing an exceptional candidate experience.This is a full-time positionbased in our St. Louis office.The Job:

Lead full-cycle talent acquisition efforts from job posting, sourcing, interviewing, to offer negotiation.

While acting as Hartwig's brand ambassador, utilize various talent sourcing methods including job boards, social media, resume searches, networking, and applicant tracking systems (ATS) to identify and engage quality candidates.

Conduct candidate phone interviews to evaluate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit. Manage pre-hire assessment completion.

Work closely with hiring leaders to understand job requirements, define candidate profiles, and ensure alignment of hiring goals and timelines.

Facilitate job offers, including compensation negotiations while maintaining internal equity. Provide input on market compensation fluctuations.

Manage onboarding process that includes welcome gifts, new employee orientation, completion of new hire documents/checklist and personnel file creation.

Track KPIs related to recruitment and provide regular updates on hiring progress, challenges, and outcomes.

Ensure adherence to all company policies, legal requirements, federal and state employment laws and industry best practices throughout the recruitment process.

Partners with HR leader to analyze recruitment efforts that support our annual Affirmative Action Plans. Identify process improvements to ensure ongoing compliance.

Partners with human resources team members on various projects to evolve HR strategically to support company and team members.

Expand HR knowledge by learning additional areas of HR (benefits, compliance, co-worker relations), as recruitment levels allow.

The Skills/Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist, ideally in a technical/manufacturing industry.

Proven track record with utilizing sourcing methods to find qualified candidates.

In-depth understanding of recruitment processes, interviewing techniques, and candidate assessment methods.

Professionalism, strong interpersonal communication skills and proactive ability to build long-term relationships with team members

Proficiency in using an Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS software, and Microsoft Office.

Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team, environment using sound judgement and ability to identify and address workplace issues

Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
