Top Secret Technical Project Manager

Job DescriptionA client is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join their team based out of Tempe, AZ or Reston, VA. This individual will be joining a new program kick off with the below responsibilities:Role: Technical lead for Tranche 1 engineering teams and development section.Scope: Managing technical, cost, schedule, and risk aspects for satellite missionBackground: Ideal candidates have a mix of software, networking, and systems engineering experience, preferably with a satellite or satellite operations background.Responsibilities:75% internal development team involvement.25% customer-facing.Focus on modernization of code and adapting commercial code for federal use.Maintaining schedule and technical baseline.Compensation:$60/hr to $80/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Future move to Reston planned.Travel: Approximately 20%, mainly between AZ and VA, with potential trips to North Dakota or Huntsville.Clearance: Top Secret SCI preferred, with the ability to obtain CI Poly.
