Community Technicians INTERVIEWING IMMEDIATELY 3PM - 11:30PM SHIFT
Position Summary:
The Community Technician is responsible for maintaining the safety, well-being, and compliance of clients within the facility. This role includes client engagement, facility monitoring, policy enforcement, and accurate record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement and Well-Being:
Conduct regular wellness checks to monitor clients for distress or non-wellness.
Provide support and report any concerning behaviors or interactions.
Food Service:
Assist with distributing meals to clients and ensure proper handling.
Facility Rounds:
Perform routine facility checks, including fire safety inspections.
Ensure unoccupied offices and maintenance areas are locked and secure.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Observe and report suspicious client behaviors or interactions.
Address client activities that violate facility policies, rules, and regulations.
Client Property Management:
Assist with packing and documenting client belongings when needed.
Screening and Searches:
Screen clients and visitors entering the facility, including wand/property searches.
Conduct locker searches as required.
Data Entry and Record Keeping:
Input client information into the facility’s computer systems.
Maintain accurate log entries in record books, including signing clients and visitors in and out.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Strong observational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
Proficiency in basic computer skills and data entry.
Attention to detail in record-keeping and documentation.
Work Schedule:
Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM IN MANHATTEN!
Salary 16.00 - 17.44 plus union benefits
