Experienced bookkeeper/accountant needed for multifamily property management business
Our small family-owned business is seeking an experienced bookkeeper/accountant to manage accounting and operations for our multifamily properties on a flexible, part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills with experience in property management who is looking for flexible hours within a professional, family-friendly environment.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records for multifamily properties
Utilize Appfolio software for property accounting and management functions.
Provide detailed financial reports, including profit and loss statements and budget analyses.
Assist with tax-related recordkeeping and preparation support.
Preparation of tax returns
Qualifications:
Five years experience in public accounting/bookkeeping in property management industry
Proficiency with Appfolio property management software is essential or ability to learn the software.
Strong knowledge of property management operations and financial reporting.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage tasks independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
